We are a team of Software Engineers, Product Designers, and Product Managers coming together to serve business to business buyers and sellers.

Vision

Our vision is to equip small medium enterprises across South East Asia with world class information technology that empowers them to find and collaborate with other businesses. We aspire to build an online business network and system that fosters the trust and human relationships offline business networks deeply value. As part of our commitment to the small entrepreneur, we will ensure that our products and services will be able to grow in parallel to their personal and business growth.

Taikuun will be the backbone and intelligence of B2B suppliers and buyers across the region; in doing so we do not only save the time of the small entrepreneur and her associates but we actively ensure that they can focus on revenue generating activities for their company.

Mission

Our mission is to be the #1 South East Asian business to business marketplace by 2023 -- a marketplace that is differentiated by its superior product value in collaboration tools between businesses.

A small medium entrepreneur should be able to source for information, grow his business network, and actively work with his suppliers and distributors on our mobile and web platform. Our emphasis on small businesses and how we save their time will guide how we hire, design, and develop. We will build trust with our customers by investing in the protection of their data and by providing them with the business intelligence tools that only big businesses have access to. We will facilitate trust between users and provide a space for small business owners to learn from one each other through best practice sharing, industry reports, and access to industry leader ask me anything forums. More than anything, management should always empower Taikuun associates to be able to make decisions that prioritise the trust and relationships between businesses that collaborate with one another in the marketplace.

We're building B2B Software for the next generation of Tycoons in Southeast Asia by empowering them with a Domestic Marketplace and the subsequent AI powered collaboration tools nuanced for their industry and category. We believe in small medium entrepreneurs and businesses and will scale our technologies and product offerings as your business and personal growth scales as well.

Jig Young

Chief executive officer

Jig is a former product manager for growth at a Y Combinator Startup, Kalibrr.com, where he helped grow the marketplace to 600K users, expand to Indonesia, and build enterprise products for BPO's. He's applying his skills in technology and marketplace growth to his obsession of facilitating trust and transactions for small medium businesses in SEA online.

Sean Yu

Sean is a second generation business owner who operates his own restaurant. He is a senior web and mobile developer for the #1 rewards company in PH and cares deeply about sourcing for local suppliers and service providers as he has experienced the same struggles while running his small business.

Luis graduated with Latin Honors from the University in the Philippines. After spending some time in P&G in sales & account management, he turned into a serial entrepreneur -- selling industrial and auxiliary supplies to businesses + importing niche consumer goods for the PH market.

Casper Chan

Chief Operations Officer / CTO

Casper is the summa cum laude of UP Diliman in Computer Science (2015) and is a second generation business owner who wants to help other struggling family businesses buy and sell B2B transactions online. He believes in the version of the future where family businesses are enabled by and not hampered by technology. After graduation, Casper was a Data Scientist for business intelligence and is now currently the Senior Product Manager at Kalibrr.com.
